Sand Dollar Group Information 2023

Group Complimentary Policy:

 ●    A group is defined as any single reservation for a minimum of 10                  individuals or more traveling on a common itinerary, no exceptions.

 ●    Sand Dollar Bonaire offers one complimentary person for every nine persons paid. The complimentary accommodation is based on one person in the least expensive accommodation type booked.

 ●    Diving: one complimentary shore diving or boat package for every nine packages paid.

 ●    Breezes N’ Bites Restaurant (Breakfast Add-On) offers one complimentary   person for every nine persons paid. 

Deposit and Payment Policy:

Payment Policy:

• No deposit is required to confirm a reservation. 
• 30 days after confirmation, a deposit is required. Minimum deposit is $500 (2 apartments). For any group booking over two apartments, an additional $75 deposit is required per apartment.
• 60 days before arrival we require 50% of the total payment (net) for the full group booking. (This includes any add-ons to the reservation for diving, truck rental or breakfast).
• 30 days before arrival we require the remaining 50% balance, as well as the rooming list.
• Anytime a payment is seven or more days past due, we reserve the right to cancel the full reservation and inform you by email.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation of the entire group reservation, or individual apartments, made within 30 days of confirming the reservation have no forfeit (no deposit has been paid). To avoid future penalties, any unsold space should be released at this time.
• Any group cancellation or unit reduction made 31 days after confirmation and 61 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of $75 per condo. Package add-ons may be cancelled with no penalty.
• Any group cancellation or unit reduction made 60 - 31 days before the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the net reservation of the accommodation only. Package add-ons may be cancelled with no penalty.
• No group cancellations or apartment reductions can be made 30 days or less before the arrival date, both for accommodation and package add-ons. See Peace of Mind Policy below.

Peace of Mind Policy:

• Entire Group Reschedules: At any time prior to arrival, if the group cannot travel, they can move their reservation and transfer all existing pre-payments to the new dates (travel within 12 months of original travel dates). 
• Guests may transfer their reservation to another person prior to arrival without penalty or fees. Transfer fees for package add-ons may apply.
• Individuals within the Group Reschedule: If at any time prior to the group arrival, individuals within the group cannot travel, they can move their reservation (travel within 12 months of original travel dates).  In order to maintain the number of free persons, the group continues with full payment for all individuals and will receive a credit for the unused portion of the reservation.
• While the credit may be applied to another group booking, it does not contribute towards an additional group comp.
• Waiver of penalty applies to accommodations only. Penalties for reservation add-ons (diving, truck, breakfast) may apply for changes less than 30 days before arrival.
• The rescheduled reservation will not be eligible for any new promotion.
• A surcharge may apply to the rescheduled reservation due to seasonal rate changes.
