Dive Friends Bonaire

Dive Friends is our neighbor and partner to be the gateway to Bari Reef. They are a full-service dive center offering dive courses, equipment rentals, guided shore dives, guided boat dives, equipment repair and more.

Dive Friends has multiple locations on the island and offers our guests convenient stops for tank pick-up and drop-off, advice or even a cold glass of water or coffee when away from your Sand Dollar apartment.

The Sand Dollar location is their main dive center and is available exclusively to Sand Dollar. They manage the dive dock and provide air and nitrox tanks, rinse tanks and equipment banks day and night! There is also a 24-hour storage facility for equipment and wagons if you want to dive further along the Sand Dollar property. If you want to explore further afield, the dive center is accessible by truck and has a dedicated space for a drive-up tank room and another set of rinse tanks, all also available 24 hours a day.

To ensure a safe vacation, if you haven't dived for more than a year, Dive Friends requires you to refresh your diving skills and knowledge with a refresher course. The recommended type of refresher course depends on the date of your last dive, certification level and total number of dives. If you have not dived for more than 8 years, you should take a full PADI Open Water course without the theory.

If you're visiting with kids, Dive Friends offers several opportunities for kids to join in, both above and below the water (starting at age five!). Sand Dollar is the perfect place to start creating dive memories for the whole family!
