Cancellation Policy

Group Free Policy:

● A group is defined as a single reservation for at least 10 people or more traveling on a common itinerary, with no exceptions.

● Sand Dollar Bonaire offers one free person for every nine persons paid. The free accommodation is based on one person in the cheapest accommodation type booked.

● Diving: one free shore dive or boat package for every nine paid packages.

● Breezes N' Bites Restaurant (breakfast extension) offers one free person for every nine paid persons.

Peace of mind policy:

Entire group rescheduling: at any time before arrival, if the group cannot travel, they can reschedule their reservation and transfer all existing advance payments to the new dates (travel within 12 months of the original travel dates). Guests may transfer their reservation to another person prior to arrival without penalty or fee. Transfer fees may apply for package extensions. Individuals within the group reschedule: if individuals within the group cannot travel at any time prior to the group's arrival, they may reschedule their reservation (travel within 12 months of the original travel dates). To maintain the number of free people, the group will proceed with full payment for all individuals and receive a credit for the unused portion of the reservation. Although the credit can be applied to another group booking, it does not contribute to an additional group comp. Exemption from penalty applies to accommodations only. Penalty charges may apply to reservation extensions (diving, truck, breakfast) for changes less than 30 days prior to arrival. Rescheduled reservations are not eligible for new offers. A surcharge may apply to the rescheduled reservation due to seasonal rate changes. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more detailed information and hotel policy information.

Deposit and Payment Policy:

Payment Policy:

• No deposit is required to confirm a reservation. A deposit is required 30 days after confirmation. Minimum deposit is $500 (2 apartments). Any group reservation of more than two apartments requires an additional deposit of $75 per apartment. 60 days prior to arrival we require 50% of the total payment (net) for the entire group reservation. (This includes any add-ons to the reservation for diving, truck rentals or breakfast). 30 days prior to arrival we require the remaining 50% of the balance as well as the room list. Any time a payment is seven or more days past due, we reserve the right to cancel the entire reservation and notify you by email.
  

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation of the entire group reservation, or individual apartments, done within 30 days of confirmation of the reservation has no forfeit (no deposit has been made). To avoid future penalties, any unsold space must be released at this time. Any group cancellation or reduction of units made 31 days after confirmation and 61 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of $75 per apartment. Package extensions may be cancelled at no charge. Any group cancellation or reduction of units made 60 - 31 days prior to the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the net accommodation reservation. Additional packages may be cancelled at no charge. No group cancellations or apartment discounts can be made 30 days or less prior to the arrival date, for both accommodations and additional packages. See Peace of Mind policy below.
